Mine Workers (Infrastructure)
Location: Waihi Area
7/7 Roster
Responsibilities:
Carry out underground mining services including construction, installation, and maintenance of mine infrastructure, eg. pump stations, ventilation systems, concrete formwork, water & air lines.
Follow health & safety and standard operating procedures
Undertake pre-start checks on plant & equipment
Qualifications:
Full NZ Drivers Licence (required) - able to operate manual vehicles
Working at Heights qualification & First Aid certificate (or willingness to complete)
Preference may be given to applicants with industry experience
Tradesmen / Builders / Drainlayers encouraged to apply
Underground Supervisors / B-Grade Mine Managers
Location: Waihi Area
7/7 Roster
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead crews to achieve high quality work and foster safe and positive culture
Lead risk assessments, toolbox and pre-start meetings
Carry out underground mining services including construction, installation, and maintenance of mine infrastructure
Ensure health & safety and standard operating procedures are adhered to
Follow and maintain effective shift handover procedures
Monitor work conditions and take corrective actions
Qualifications:
B-Grade Metalliferous Mine Manager CoC
Full NZ Drivers Licence (required) - able to operate manual vehicles
Working at Heights qualification & First Aid certificate (or willingness to complete)
LV Fitter / Auto Electrician
Location: Huntly
Full-time position (Mon - Fri)
Responsibilities:
Follow health & safety and standard operating procedures
Maintain, service and repair light vehicles and underground equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
Repair auto electrical systems
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Install communications and safety systems in vehicles
Qualifications:
Trades qualification (LV fitter, Automotive Electrician, or similar)
Full NZ Drivers Licence (required)
Mechanic / Fitter
Location: Reefton
Full-time position (Mon - Fri)
Responsibilities:
Follow health & safety and standard operating procedures
Maintain, service and repair light vehicles, farming and mining plant/equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Qualifications:
Trades qualification (LV fitter, Automotive Electrician, or similar)
Fabrication/Welding qualification or experience
Full NZ Drivers Licence (required)
